Formation Co. is on a mission to bring you handcrafted, versatile jewellery with soul. Entirely designed and made in East London, bringing you beautiful, quality jewellery at affordable prices is at the heart of everything we do.

Inspired by a passion for ancient history, far flung locations and storied symbology, Formation Co. Jewellery is designed for the modern adventurer, wherever you roam.

Our ethos is slow, with a buy less wear more philosophy featuring unique designs and timeless shapes that are steeped in meaning.

    We believe in inclusivity and transparency. We offer a range of great quality jewellery, but we don’t add huge markups to our prices. This ensures it remains affordable for all.

    Our entire collection is, and always will be, handmade. We don't want to add to the mass production that is already in the market and only create small batch or made to order items.

ORIGIN STORY

Formation Co. was founded in 2019 by Kerry. Having worked as a clothing designer for some of the biggest brands in the world for over ten years, creating stories and evoking mood through creativity has always been at the heart of her design process. Having a wealth of knowledge

Kerry's obsession with jewellery began when inheriting a selection of her grandmother’s jewellery as a teenager. After curating her own personal collection, she took silversmithing classes in her spare time whilst living in the US, and it fast became all consuming.

Graduating that hobby into a business upon her return to the UK, Kerry strives to create unique jewellery that strikes a balance between bohemia and modernity.

ECO FOCUS

  • PACKAGING

    Every aspect of our packaging is fully eco-friendly and recycled using FSC certified materials, from our tissue to our gift boxes. We urge you to close the circle by recycling or reusing all packaging, and keeping the gift boxes to protect your jewels when you’re not wearing them. We almost always ship using Royal Mail as they have the lowest reported carbon emissions of all UK based shipping providers

  • PRODUCT

    all our products are handmade and created through considered design. We do not mass produce and mostly all items are crafted only once an order is placed to avoid creating excess product. Our items are versatile and stackable, increasing their lifespan by design. We do not want to add to landfill, and so if you no longer wear your jewels we are more than happy to take them back and recycle them for you.
